Creative Doorway was founded in 2014 with a very specific motivation. “We simply refuse to showcase our client’s products and services in the linear grass roots advertising formulas of yonder years,” explains owner and director James Buzzacco. “Instead, we are leveraging our award-winning cinema filmmaking and branding accolades to create a more personal and relatable human condition story campaign for a new generation of consumers; those that have evolved away from the era of direct solicitation.
“The implementation of a great band story can elevate any marketing initiative, but there are levels to this. Creative Doorway is a next level brand storytelling and marketing company.”
Qualifications
- Strong sense of visual design – including form, perspective, materials, and lighting
- Familiarity with current and future trends with regard to creating brand assets with a cinematic lighting schematic.
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong autonomy, and ability to maintain high quality and consistent progress without constant supervision
- Attention to detail and creative problem solving
- Some proficiency in 3D modeling, texturing, and lighting.
- High proficiency in 2D art creation/manipulation software, including but not limited to Photoshop
- Ability to concept a variety of subjects and styles of execution
Responsibilities
- Create high quality cinematic themed art for brand and film projects.
- Work closely with Art/Creative Director to maintain artistic cohesion across all concept and final assets
- Collaborate with other Creative Doorway artists, designers, and animators to take the concepts to final
- Communicate effectively with the team to fulfill the campaign’s visual goals
Annual Compensation: $60,000 – $85,000 per year + bonus
